English singer Harry Styles' "As It Was" has shattered the record for the longest-charting song in the Billboard Hot 100's history.
The song spent an impressive 91 weeks on the chart, surpassing the previous record holder, "Old Town Road" by Lil Nas X featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, which stayed on the chart for 19 weeks.
"As It Was" also holds the record for the longest-reigning number-one song by a solo artist, spending 15 weeks atop the chart.
The song was released in April 2022 and became an instant hit, spending five weeks at number one on the weekly chart.
